Black History Month

For the month of February, the Student Doctors for Ethnic Diversity and the library have created a display based on the theme, “Health and Wellbeing: The Condition of Women and Men’s Health”. A few titles that are being highlighted this year are Medical apartheid, Black man in a white coat, Black women’s health, The African American woman’s health book, Body and soul : the Black Panther Party and the fight against medical discrimination. The display also includes portraits and bios on Black doctors and scientists that have made contributions to the medical profession.
